The Spring Gate

£1,995.00

The Story

I know, it looks like just a fence... but there's something about it that I just couldn't ignore. The way it leads into the striped grass fields in the distance, the yellow triangle of rapeseed on the top of the hill, the moody, stormy sky, and last but not least, the strip of light coming from the side.

There was SO much going on, ignoring the fact that this was ALSO an 8 shot focus-stacked image taken using the automatic focus stacking mode on my Canon R5 which has been simply superb for this type of work. I desperately wanted everything in focus, from the very first fence post in the bottom left, to the rapeseed on top of the hill when printed big.

The Print

Each print is signed and numbered in the white border on the front of the print, and hand picked from my portfolio to become one of only a few single edition prints. The final paper size will vary depending on the ratio of the final photograph because I keep the original aspect ratio intended for that image. The final print will come with a thin white border on the top, left and right, with a deeper white border on the bottom for signing and numbering. This also makes it easier when your framer is mounting - this print does not come with a mount or frame.

A1 prints will be sent in a very secure double-walled tube, this is to try and prevent any damage in transit. NO frame or mount is included within the price.
